COSMETIC TATTOO

Policies

Cosmetic tattoo services require clear communication, accurate medical disclosure, proper preparation, and strict adherence to studio and aftercare instructions. Please review all policies carefully before booking. These policies are in place to protect safety, support proper healing, clarify expectations, and maintain professional standards throughout the service process. These policies protect both client and studio time, support fairness, and uphold DCPC’s professional standards. Policies are subject to change at any time without prior notice. By booking an appointment or continuing to use this site, you acknowledge and accept the most current version of these policies.

  • The Signature requires a 50% deposit at booking. The balance is due on or before the day of your appointment.

All other services, plans, and packages are paid in full at booking and purchase.

All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Your appointment time is set aside exclusively for you, and preparation starts as soon as you book. This includes reviewing intake and photos, building your procedure plan, designing your brows, and dedicated studio setup and time. Because that time can’t reliably be replaced last-minute, the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Each appointment is reserved specifically for you, and work on your case begins as soon as you book. This may include review of your intake and medical history, assessment of candidacy, procedure planning, brow design strategy, scheduling preparation, and other appointment-specific administrative and creative work completed in advance of your visit.

You may reschedule your appointment one time with at least 72 hours’ notice. When proper notice is given, your deposit may be transferred to the new appointment date.

Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice, late arrivals that interfere with the scheduled service, or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of the deposit. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable because they secure your appointment time and compensate DCPC for the preparation, planning, and administrative work that begins upon booking.

These policies are in place to protect studio time and ensure that each client receives the preparation, attention, and care their appointment requires.

  • Complimentary consultations are offered at no charge, but they are still reserved appointment times held specifically for you. A valid credit card is required to book and hold the appointment. If you cancel or attempt to reschedule with less than 72 hours notice, the card on file will be charged the full consultation fee. If you fail to attend the appointment, the card on file will be charged the full consultation fee. By booking, you agree to these terms and authorize this charge.

  • Clients are required to personally complete all intake, consent, and medical history forms unless DCPC expressly authorizes otherwise. Forms must be completed fully, accurately, and truthfully.

DCPC relies on the information provided by the client in order to evaluate candidacy, determine whether treatment is appropriate, and make decisions related to safety, technique, and aftercare. If information is omitted, completed by another person without authorization, inaccurately reported, outdated, or false, DCPC cannot be held responsible for complications, adverse reactions, poor healing, unsatisfactory results, or any outcome affected by missing or incorrect information.

It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, recent procedures, and any other information that could affect treatment or healing. If a client is unsure of their medical history, current health status, or whether a condition or medication is relevant, they are responsible for consulting an appropriate licensed medical provider before the appointment.

DCPC reserves the right to refuse, postpone, modify, or discontinue service if medical information is incomplete, inconsistent, cannot be verified, or raises a safety concern.

  • Failure to follow pre-care instructions may compromise procedure safety, skin response during tattooing, healing quality, and final results. It may also result in rescheduling and/or additional sessions being required to complete your treatment plan.

DCPC reserves the right to pause, end, or modify the appointment if pre-care compliance cannot be confirmed, if required information is missing or inaccurate, or if the skin presents as too reactive for safe or appropriate treatment. This may include converting the appointment to a design-only session or partial service.

Any additional sessions required to complete your treatment plan will be booked separately. Deposits are non-refundable.

If your appointment exceeds the allotted time due to pre-care non-compliance, additional time will be billed accordingly and payment will be collected at the end of the appointment.

  • Failure to follow aftercare instructions may compromise your safety, healing, and final results. In rare cases, improper aftercare may contribute to irritation, delayed healing, pigment loss, or infection.

Written aftercare instructions are included in your aftercare package. DCPC will also review them with you in detail at your appointment.

Aftercare instructions may be adjusted based on your skin, health history, healing response, or the condition of the treatment area at the time of your appointment. Any changes to the standard instructions will be clearly explained to you. These adjustments are made to protect your skin and support the best possible healed result.

DCPC is not responsible for complications, poor healing, or unsatisfactory results caused by a client’s failure to follow aftercare instructions, deviation from guidance provided, or disregard of professional recommendations.

  • For everyone’s comfort, safety, and regulatory compliance, no guests are permitted in the studio during appointments. This includes friends, partners, children, and family members. The studio is a licensed procedure space, and operator areas must remain controlled, sanitary, and limited to the client receiving the service. To maintain compliance and protect the integrity of the procedure environment, only one client may be present in the procedure area at a time. Any accompanying guest must remain in the waiting room. Thank you for understanding.

If you are ill, feeling unwell, or experiencing any symptoms of illness, you must reschedule your appointment. Arriving sick or symptomatic will result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the deposit.

No eating or drinking is permitted inside the studio.

Please arrive alone and on time. The studio is a controlled procedure environment designed for cleanliness, focus, and safety.
