AFTERCARE
Your Healing, Perfected
Beauty takes precision — even in recovery. The days following your appointment allow your new brows to refine and become fully yours. Proper care ensures optimal results. Take care of your investment.
-
Gently blot brows with clean tissue once every 10 minutes for the first hour after your appointment.
Continue to blot once every hour for the next 8 hours to remove excess lymph fluid and pigment.
-
Starting tonight: Wash the treated area with Cetaphil.
Gently blot dry with a clean paper towel and allow to completely air dry.
Apply a small amount of ointment (about the size of a grain of rice) with a clean cotton swab.
Do this twice daily — morning and night — unless instructed otherwise.
Try to sleep on your back.
Brows will appear very big and dark, some tightness and soreness is normal.
-
Keep the area completely dry — avoid sweating, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming.
Avoid makeup, heat, and touching the brows.
Continue to sleep on your back.
Light flaking is normal. It will itch. Do not pick or scratch.
Brows may appear lighter or patchy — this is temporary. They did not disappear.
-
The surface layer will finish shedding, and the pigment will “bloom”.
Avoid sun exposure and skincare acids (AHA, BHA, retinol).
No makeup directly on brows.
Hydrate your skin — drink water, rest, and protect your healing work.
Results require patience. True color emerges after full healing — about 28 days for young adults and up to 60 days or longer for older individuals. Factors like age, genetics, and lifestyle can affect the speed and efficiency of this cycle, which includes the formation of new cells, their maturation with keratin, and the shedding of dead cells. Trust the process.
-
Always use SPF 30+ once healed.
Avoid exfoliating or chemical peels over tattooed areas.
Schedule your Perfecting Sessionwithin 4–6 weeks, or your next Touch-Up as advised during your appointment to refine and maintain color, definition, and depth.
Retinol, AHA, & BHA can potentially lighten and/or alter the tattoo. Use sparingly around/on brow area.
-
Mild itching or tightness: normal healing.
